USE INSTRUCTIONS

In absorbing surfaces, apply previously a layer of CIMENTART Sealer.
Mix the two components, using an electric mixer, until you get a perfect homogeneous mixture. Is done using the following proportions: 5 parts of Polyurethane (component A) to 2 part of Hardener (component B). It is important to mix completely the two components to avoid the appearance of areas of different grades of gloss due to a deficient dispersion of the two components.

To achieve an extra hardness and resistance to scratching, especially on pavements with heavy traffic of people or greater wear, you can make the mixture in the following proportions: 5 parts of Polyurethane (component A) for 2 part of Hardener (component B).
After the correct mixing is done you should filter the mixing using a metallic strainer.
Once the mixing is filtered if you notice the formation of small bubbles, you should wait 5 minutes before you start the application.
Apply one layer, in an orderly way without stretching to much the product, ensuring that no area is left uncovered, and without excesses, creating a layer of the thickness of a paper sheet. Cover very well all the areas with water contact and the joints where the water can penetrate.
In vertical areas make sure that the product doesn’t not creates drops that slide down. Use the roller to fix the situation.

A too thick layer can produce:

• The products drops (in walls).
• A too slow drying.
• Decreased hardness due to excess of product.

Remember that the recommended amount of product (once soaked in the roller), by m2 is 60 to 80 g.

Drying time: Before applying the second layer of CIMENTART WB BI-COMPONENT POLYURETHANE, make sure that the first layer is completely dry, approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on the ventilation and temperature of the room.
Repainting time for the second layer: it must be repainted before 8 hours, since after this time blistering and/or lack of adherence of the second layer may occur. After this time (8 hours) it is essential to sand between layers.

This product needs good ventilation in the room where it is applied.

The life span of the product once mixed is about 1 hour, after that you will notice an increased viscosity and the hardener properties will be lost. Is recommended to use the mixed product in less than 1 hour.

The drying time before use the surface is minimum 72 hours. The minimum time of wait before put the surface in contact with water is 1 week.
The product is presented ready to use, we do not advise its dilution, which would cause loss of properties of hardness and waterproofing.
Apply directly with a varnish roller, a brush or an airless system over a dust free surface. We recommend brushing the surface after apply the product to remove possible air bubbles, especially on very hot, dry and highly ventilated site.
Clean all tools with water.

DRYING TIMES

The drying of the CIMENTART WB BI-COMPONENT POLYURETHANE depends on the temperature, ventilation and humidity. Normally it will be completely dry between 3 to 5 hours, depending on the ventilation and temperature of the room.

ULTRA VIOLET RAY RESISTANCE

CIMENTART WB BI-COMPONENT POLYURETHANE is an aliphatic product. It is completely resistant to the action of UV rays and does not yellow to the outside.

EFFICIENCY

With 1 liter of CIMENTART WB Bi-COMPONENT POLYURETHANE, you can cover approximately 12 to 18 m2 of surface, depending on the absorption of the support and the thickness of the applied layer.
We recommend 2 layers on surfaces with no contact with water and 3 layers on surfaces with contact with water or humidity (exterior surfaces, shower plates, WC or kitchen worktops, etc.)

RECOMMENDED FINISHES

Floors: we recommend, without exception, that you apply on floors, interior and exterior, the CIMENTART WB Bi-COMPONENT POLYURETHANE GLOSS, for a better cleaning of the surface. The Mate floor many times gives to the customers the impression of being not-finished, old and dirty.

Walls: In walls, you can apply any of the 3 available finishes: Matt, Gloss or Satin, according to the customer choice.

PACKAGING

The CIMENTART WB Bi-COMPONENT POLYURETHANE for all types of finishing: Glossy, Satin or Matte
Is available in 3 different recipients:

• 1 kg: Comp A: 714.30 gr. Comp B: 285.70 gr.
• 5 kg: Comp A: 3.57 kg. Comp B: 1.43 kg.
• 25 kg: Comp A: 17.85 kg. Comp B: 7.15 kg.

STORING

12 months, in a dry place protected from bad weather, in original recipient hermetically closed.

RECOMENDATIONS

• Do not dilute the product with water or solvents.
• Never apply the product on substrates that are wet, damp or have capillary moisture.
• Do not apply the product if there is a humidity in the environment of more than 50%.
• Do not apply in layers greater than 0.1 mm.
• Respect the recommended drying times.
• A good ventilation is necessary in the rooms where it is applied.
• Do not apply with risk of frost or rainy weather.
• Do not apply at temperatures below 5ºC or above 35ºC.
• Never leave any of the layers in half, once the application is started, continue until its completion without stopping, so you do not see cuts, encounters or joints. If the surface is very large, several people must make the application at the same time.
• Protect furniture, chairs or tables with protective felts.
• Never drag furniture or other objects and protect the pavement if you are going to carry out other construction work on the pavement.
• Merchandise considered not dangerous in matters of transport. It is water based, free of solvents, alcohols or flammable products.
• Use the appropriate PPE.
• Do not place children within reach, avoid contact with eyes and skin through appropriate PPE.
• In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult your doctor in case of subsequent discomfort.
• Once the application is finished, let it dry completely and let it run for at least 4 days before doing other types of work and 7 days before moistening or receiving water.
