CimentArt Metallic Sealer is a high-quality decorative coating designed to create elegant metallic and pearlescent finishes on microcement surfaces. Formulated using advanced synthetic resins, ultra-fine micronised metallic minerals, and carefully selected pigments, CimentArt Metallic Sealer produces natural-looking metallic effects with a smooth and refined appearance. Unlike many alternative products, there is no need for sanding or polishing to achieve the final finish, as the metallic effect develops during application.

This product is ideal for use on microcement walls, floors, and ceilings in homes, retail spaces, restaurants, bathrooms, and feature areas where a decorative finish is required. It performs best in areas with good natural or artificial lighting, which enhances the metallic effect.

Suitable Surfaces and Application
CimentArt Metallic Sealer is applied as a final decorative layer over CimentArt Fine Microcement. It is suitable for:
Walls, floors and ceilings
Interior and exterior applications
Domestic and commercial environments

All surfaces must be properly prepared before application. Substrates should be smooth, clean, dry, and free from dust. Uneven surfaces should be levelled using CimentArt Base Microcement and primed with CimentArt Primer to ensure proper adhesion.

Application Instructions

CimentArt Metallic Sealer should be applied to the CimentArt Fine Microcement once it is completely dry, sanded and vacuumed.

The Fine Microcement used prior to the application of the CimentArt Metallic Sealer must be of a similar colour to the metallic finish that we want, so we recommend the following colors:

The product is supplied ready to use. Stir thoroughly before application to ensure an even consistency.
Apply 2 to 3 thin layers using a steel trowel or sponge. Each layer should not exceed 0.1 mm thickness.
Use short, semi-circular movements to achieve a smooth and continuous decorative finish.
Light sanding between coats may be carried out if required to improve smoothness.

Coverage is approximately 30 to 40 grams per square metre per layer, depending on application method and surface condition.

Storage and Conditions
Shelf life is 12 months when stored in a dry, frost-free environment in the original sealed container.

Supplied in 1 kg containers.

Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C. Avoid application during rain or frost conditions. This product is not recommended for use in areas affected by rising damp or capillary moisture.

Health and Safety
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including gloves and eye protection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice if irritation occurs.
